Chancel Choir is a group of adult singers who enjoy learning new anthems, praise songs, and
cantatas to share in worship. Singing lifts the human spirit and opens us to the presence of God
in our lives, and the chancel choir provides a time and place to be lifted and inspired.
Bell Choir for adults meets early Wednesday evenings. The Schulmerich handbells add a bright
sound to worship when this groups shares special selections. This is a teaching and ringing group
which includes those who are beginning to learn and appreciate bells.
The men's fellowship group is called Disciples Men (formerly 'Christian Men's Fellowship').
Each month, the men meet for breakfast, a devotional lesson, and a review of outreach
commitments. Meetings are held in the Fellowship Hall of the church.
In recent months, the group has been working the the SPAN program of Denton Country to
provide additional support to senior citizens in the area. Each year, the men support the work of
the Southwest Good Samaritan Ministries in the valley of Texas.
CWF (Christian Women's Fellowship) is an active fellowship and service group in the life of Saint Andrews. Dinner meetings are
held on fifth Tuesdays throughout the year to conduct business and study mission themes. CWF
is a leadership group in the life of the local church and the denomination itself in the promotion
and funding of missional causes.
During the late afternoon or early evening of the third Saturday of the month, the Seniors meet
for dinner or an outing in the community. The group includes young-at-heart members from
fifty-five years of age and up.
Seniors have gone downtown on the DART rail for dinner and viewed a movie at IMAX theatre.
Pot luck entrees, hamburgers, and homemade ice cream are preludes to fellowship at some
Seniors take interest in programs related to the Christian faith and topics which help meet the
needs of seniors in the church and in the community.
