Summary: Rev. Irie Session is a recent graduate of Brite Divinity School,and provides leadership for the Area in the Camp and Conference ministry,Disciples Women,the Youth Ministry Council and new ministry development.

Biography: The North Texas Area is excited to enjoy Rev. Irie Session on staff. She demonstrates exceptional gifts and graces for ministry including the launch of a new church, New Life Christian Church, which she continues. As Associate Area Minister, Irie works closely with the Camp and Conference ministry, Disciples Women throughout the Area, and program initiation and planning. Since her church meets in the afternoon, she is available for some speaking at Area churches. Since this is a part-time ministry, she also continues to work some with “New Friends New Life,” which ministers to women seeking to leave the adult entertainment industry.

Irie is a recent graduate of Brite Divinity School, where she won many honors for preaching, theology, and student pastoral ministry. She graduated from Oklahoma Christian College in 1982 and immediately began a career in social work before God called her into ministry.
